Toppik and other hair thickening powders
I was cursed with very fine, limp, flat hair. I don't have bald spots or anything but i noticed when i use dry shampoo that my hair feels thicker. Has anyone tried that Toppik stuff or a similar hair thickening powder?
Thickening shampoos just weight my hair down (along with most hairsprays), and teasing doesn't stay up for longer than a few minutes and after that i'm left with a flat tangled mess so i usually rely on clip-in extensions and blowdrying upside down. The problem is my hair's getting pretty damaged what with dyeing and heat products so i wondered if the powders would work. Thanks in advance. |
henna can make the hair strands thicker, it is a dye though
theres a similar thing to henna its called cassia obovata ( this doesnt add color, except a golden tint to pale hair) http://www.hennaforhair.com/faq/cassiaobovata.html also have you tried mousse ??? this can give some volume to the hair using mousse along with a diffuser could help eta: no i have never tried thickening powders |
I've never tried powders but a little texturizer right at the roots does the trick for me.
