Random Short Story That Will End Unconcluded

The last thing I remembered seeing before I sank into darkness was her standing over me. Her dark hair was coated with glitter and her emerald eyes glinted like wet ivy under black shadow. I could see her back in the mirror of my tiny bathroom. Her shoulder blades looked ready to sprout into wings and carry us far away. Her red nails raked through my hair as she pulled my head back to look at my face. I winced, ready for my tongue-lashing.
"You idiot," she growled, "what the fuck do you think I'm going to do now?" My arms burned, the crimson seeping from them, staining the white lineoleum.
"Rose...I'm sorry." I tried to find the words but there were none. There was nothing I could say that could take this back and we both knew it. She sat on the edge of the tub next to me, muttering something to herself. I thought later maybe she was singing. Rose watched the pooling blood with little interest. My head nodded forward and she pulled me to her to keep me from slumping over.
"This is unnacceptable," she hissed. "They'll try to take me away if you tell them. I won't let you go without a fight." Her words etched themselves into my soul and a single tear slid down my cheek as I succumbed to the shadows that surrounded me. I slept, dreamless.

When I awoke she was by my side, as she has always been, and as she always will be. She promised, and Rose doesn't break her promises. I was still in the cold bathroom, propped up against the toilet like a drunk. My arm throbbed but the bleeding had been staunched by thick gauze. She saved my ass. Again.
If you asked me when I met Rose, I'd tell you she there was never a time without her. She has always been by my side, or, more correctly, I was always her shadow.
"Promise me you won't tell." She'd always beg, as if I'd share her with the world. No. Rose was mine and mine alone.
"I'll never leave you," she whispered in the night, "you'll never be alone." And so I wasn't. She dressed me, fed me sparingly, took me on jogs. I was her pet, she told me so. I love her with all that she is that I am not.
"You'll be happier when you see bone." Rose pointed out my imperfections. Ran her smooth hands over me, calculating the fat, the blood, and the bone underneath. "You'll be happier when you're all mine."

I'm working on it. It's hard for me to type stories unless I've written them and all of this came off the top of my head. I apoligize if it's a bit raw.

That was good. I wish you'd expand more.
