Probably because he mentioned that everyone's disappearing to a better place far away in the Randomness thread (although I could be wrong - people have been banned for far less)...

For that reason, I doubt he cares very much.

This is rejected a whole bunch of people are getting banned randomly. And yes I also must question what you must you do to get banned???

the admin bans the people that they think of as a threat to them, its that simple. I have said things that would have gotten me banned if I had more post or was better known on the site, but since I'm not a very vocal person (some people post as much in a day as I do in a month) I happen to still be here
