Hey, whats going on?! I was wondering if any of you out there would like to compile a list of all the heavy metal bands you think are really good. I'm trying to fill up my iPod. Also I love Techno and Trance. Does anyone know of any good Heavy metal bands?

Dragonforce
Just kidding, they're pretty lame. Sorry Haunted House. |
So what? I like DragonForce.... kinda. I'm actually suprised myself because metal, in all of it's forms, (in my oppinion) pretty much sucks. How someone could butcher musical instruments and their vocal chords and still be able to call it music is beyond me.

Here are a few that are in my collection that seem to be missing from the previous (awesome) suggestions:
Type O Negative, Moonspell (just saw them last night!!), Samhain, Cat Rapes Dog (not quite metal, if you’re into techno sounds you might like them and their lyrics are hilarious), Ajatarra, Finntroll, Nightwish. Also, I have to second the suggestion by V.I.R.U.S<3 (by the way V, are you from Scandinavia? There are a lot of Northern bands on your list)… AMORPHIS is the very best as far as I’m concerned. Also, to HauntedHouse… I like DragonForce too. I saw them at the Sweden Rock Festival last summer and they were grand. |
