Review: Siouxsie & The Banshees (The authorised Biography)

I find biographies a very intimate read. You always kind of hope that you can get a glimpse of a star and feel closer to their secrets, accepting the fact that there might be disappointing discoveries along the way too.
There are plenty of historical facts in this book from the very early attempts of playing ''music'', to Siouxsie shocking Disney World in her fantastic thigh length boots.
At times you kind of wonder how on earth Sioux and the gang can still be alive after all that they have been through with numerous dramas involving drugs, drink and violence...
This is offset by Siouxsie and Budgie's love story which unfurls in a comical, glamorous and sweet manner.
The book is filled with beautiful photographs and unbelievably cult like stories.
A fantastic read and a treasure to own.
