Not neccessarily.

I could see if she made the hoodie and was showing it off then it would be acceptable to be in Fashion. But she devoted a whole thread to a picture of herself which could have easily been in the Picture Post. Despite what you may think even though some threads come a bit off track we do still post pictures in the Picture Post.

As for the flaming, we normally flame people we DON'T like. So if you're looking for people to hate you (i.e. a troll) then go ahead.

I'm not really going to invest more time into explaining. That's just my two bits.
