All aboard the Goth SUB culture!

I say we buy an old submarine, retrofit it for our own use and become quite literaly the Goth SUB culture. Then no one will complain if we put the music too loud (except when it's nap time).

roserougesang 05-09-2007 06:15 PM

Sounds good to me. :)

You have to let Cicero be the submarine captain. She has her eye set on a pirate ship but I think this will do nicely.

What needs to be brought on board?

Kraven de Sade 05-09-2007 06:40 PM

Oh, yay. GothQuest DSV.

MollyMac 05-09-2007 08:23 PM

U-5666?

....

Vako 05-09-2007 09:32 PM

The Hunt for Dark October

G-19: Widowmaker

Das Boots !

Crimson Tithe

:D

Draconysius 05-09-2007 09:32 PM

Speaking of pirate ships...
Is anyone else repulsed at the quick cash-in effort known as "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End"?

All our CD collections, some vinyl, and some High-quality equipment to listen to it with, Lots of Dryell, some DJ's, lots of Lysol and boot polish, a couple of seamstresses and sewing machines, electric hair clippers, and plenty of musical instruments.

And when it becomes time for radio-silence, a library of literature and implements of writing.

And you guys could use the LF transmitter to broadcast your goth music to the world. Let's take out the torpedoes out of their tubes and the missiles out of their silos, disarm them, and use them for clothes closets!

raggedyanne 05-09-2007 09:43 PM

I like this idea! Can we go to tahiti? We could disarm all the Navys of the world and float peacufully while reading classic literature. Oh dear, I'm in hippie mode.

Clockwork 05-09-2007 09:47 PM

I hate submarines. *shrugs* I'll join though.

killer_asian_Dax 05-09-2007 10:24 PM

I'm in! And I just so happen to be (among other things) a seamstress! I'm also quite handy with a wrench so almost any mechanical (or electrical even) problem we have, I'll be able to fix! Just let me know when we leave port!

*sings* we all live in a crimson submarine, crimson submarine, crimson submarine...we all live in a crimson submarine, crimson submarine, crimson submarine....

raggedyanne 05-09-2007 11:27 PM

But I wanted a black one . . . . oh pooh

bleedingheart344 05-10-2007 05:56 AM

I'm in. I shall have to bring some music. Aikaryu and Candy Spooky Theater come to mind. Among others.

Edward 05-10-2007 06:25 AM

line the subs insides with velvet, make a dance floor, and I'll bring the absinthe!

Not really. They had announced they were going to release them fairly quickly. I don't see what the problem would be if it's still good. I heard they were actually filming this one while they were filming the second or something.

DarkChildOne 05-10-2007 08:14 AM

Shaweet! And i'll man the projectors for the wide-screen entertainment! I'll bring the computers! And tacos, you need tacos for a submarine!

KontanKarite 05-10-2007 08:18 AM

Hell yeah you need Tacos!

Dancing_in_rain 05-10-2007 09:14 AM

I'll bring the candy and punch. We'll all have a party! Woohooo! Party in the sub!

The modified version of the lyrics from that famous song...

On the net where I logged in,
Lived some crazies who went to sea,
And we all moved in with them,
To the land of submarines...

So we sailed down to the sand,
Till we found a comfy cave,
And we lived beneath the waves,
In our inky submarine,

We all live in a black submarine,
black submarine, black submarine,
We all live in a sable submarine,
sable submarine, sable submarine,

And our friends are all aboard,
Many more of them live next door,
And the band begins to play.

(Cue Goth music)

We all live in a black submarine,
black submarine, black submarine,
We all live in a sable submarine,
sable submarine, sable submarine,

(weird sounds)

As we live a life of ease,
Everyone of us has all we need (has all we need)
No more trolls (no more trolls) and beautiful goths (beautiful goths)
In our somber (in our somber) submarine (submarine. Waaaah!)

We all live in a black submarine,
black submarine, black submarine,
We all live in a sable submarine,
sable submarine, sable submarine,

We all live in a somber submarine,
sable submarine, black submarine.(fade)

Can I sing the "Doom Doom" song too? :D

Minyaliel 05-10-2007 11:55 AM

Oooh, I'm in for sure! I'll provide Opera matinees for anyone interested! ;) Alternatively, I could just wail my way through the ever- popular "Phantom of the Opera" music. Anyone want to be my Phantom?

Breathless Horror 05-10-2007 12:37 PM

I'm in! We'd better start fund raising now though, the last submarines my governement bought cost us 180-someodd million dollars for three...and they caught fire and killed 2 people. So methinks we'll want to get a bit more money, and not buy the British Navy's old equipment.

What if it was a replica of Jules Verne's Nautilus?

Renatus 05-10-2007 01:10 PM

Who do you think we could get enough money from?

Valerius. He said he's gonna be rich soon.

Minyaliel 05-10-2007 01:13 PM

Easy, Bill Gates, of course. I mean, he's always trying to tell people he gives lots of money to charity - we goths need a bit of charity sometimes too, don't you think? ;)
