Food Poisoning.
 

Nyaaaa.. I've been sick all day with food poisoning. I just hate that I got it because of this stupid soy sauce I had at this restaurant. I've been close to the bathroom for the most part of the whole freakin' day. *pout* Well, let me tell the story just because I have nothing better to do rather than watch TV and stay close to a bathroom...
So yesturday my father decides to go out for Chinese, on a Sunday, in a very young afternoon may I add. Here where I live, usually no one cooks on Sundays, and, of course, restaurants get packed with people and there's an awfully bad service. So we leave to the restaurant at the busiest hour, lunch time. We arrive at the restaurant, it's full. We wait about 10-15 minutes to get a table and around half an hour just to order up. Finally the appetizers arrive, they taste really bad. The shrimp inside the WonTons had this peculiar taste, my father agreed it was only the lack of salt. Aw well, we all ate them.
When the real meal got there, as always, my father and myself poured soy sauce all over the food. I gotta say, I love soy sauce. But who would've known that a very popular restaurant would serve fermented soy sauce. I tasted my food and felt the earlier appetizer come up, I asked my mother to smell it. She did and said it smelled funny, it tasted funny too. So I asked my father to taste it, he didn't want to, but as he had poured soy sauce on his food as well, he got to taste it. So then my father made this huge drama over the soy sauce. We ended up leaving with a very mad mood.
While I was sleeping, I kept getting up to puke.. It was disgusting and I barely got the sleep I need to grow :(
My point is, I really hate the way the restaurant didn't do anything about it rather than just change the sauce. Not even a single sorry!! Meh' I now know where not to eat again. ><

Now's the time to tell me how useless this thread might be... :3

I feel like I might just get drunk from drinking too much coke with crakers to settle my stomach. nyaaa..

I hate food poisoning more than anything. I had it a few years ago, when I ate at a pizzeria. I ordered a slice that had pasta on it, only the cheese had been sitting out for hours. So I was basically eating something that was already pretty much expired. Later that day, I kept feeling nauseous, although I vowed not to throw up. I held it for about a half an hour; in that time, a few car trips, and a walk to Barnes and Noble. I thought I was home free, when, right before I get to my apartment building, I lose control in the large hallway. Vomit. All over the floor. And nothing I could really do to help.

I rush inside to puke more, only to fall asleep. Two hours after, I wake up, only to feel that same sense of nausea remanifest itself. Right onr my parents' bed. They were considering suing the pizzeria, although nothing ever came to fruition. I usually love food; that was one of the only times in my life that food was the last thing on my mind.

Food poisoning is a bitch. I hope you feel better.

I feel very sorry for you, my dear sister. I was lucky enough not to put soy sauce on my food, if not, I would be in the same condition as you. i hope you feel better tomorrow :p

Yeah, food poisoning sucks. I had a bout of food poisoning in my old school's caf after eating some beef. Later that day I felt nauseous, so I settled into bed until about 6 pm, during that whole time I felt like I was being stabbed in the stomach with a hot knife. I swear, I clenched my teeth so hard I thought I might lose a few of my pearly whites. Stomach cramps suck.

I puked even when there was nothing left to puke, so I spent the night in a hospital because my mom insisted that I go. What sucked is when I got to the hospital and saw the needles they'd use to put an IV into my arm I was all better. I just had to drink some Gatorade and rest, but oh well.

Oh food poisoning is indeed a bitch! And a nasty one, very nasty one.

Last night before going to bed I had to drink a gatorade since I felt kind of dehydrated from the ..earlier inconviniences (sp?). I think I'm going to the doctor today, the food poisoning prevails still..
