I actually searched, and didn't find a thread that really expressed what I was trying to say, so I made this new thread.
I really am fucking sick of posers. I don't mean people who listen to MCR and say they're goth. I'm over that.
The people I'm talking about are the type that try waaay too fucking hard, and just suck at it. Just be yourself and you won't look like an asshole.

I'm talking about someone in particular, and I'm sure he knows who he is. I wasn't gonna call you out by name, but I'm not above it.

I'm not a goth, though. I'm not posing as anything, though: I'm just a cocky asshole at heart. I specifically am being obnoxiously myself, to the point where I just plain don't give a shit if you don't like it.

There is a difference by making cruel jokes, or genuinely being an asshole. In Harlequin's case, he's trying to be cruel, and trying to be an asshole. He ends up looking like a jackass instead, which is what most likely propted Ophelia to express similar feelings in this thread.

I am a geek. I am in no way 'goth-ic', except for maybe my love of all things dark, and my fondness for poetry, literature, and a tiny, tiny, tiny bit of the music.

Images aren't supposed to mean anything. Just because I could look like a scene kid and listen to MCR while I slit my wrists, doesn't exclude me from liking the Banshees and reading Yeats. Nor does being a whiny little 'princess' exclude me from having the ability to kick some serious ass.

Guess I'll be the Oddball here. I've actually come to like certain aspects of Harlequin's humour. It's very English, I think it's cute, really. Keep in mind, I am not immature nor someone who'd usually like that kind of humour.
On the other hand, for all you lovely people out there, it's hard to GET. He's not seeking attention (in his other account he was, but not on this) but he's also not trying to gain love from everyone.
The age of his humour would be (I think) from 13-22 and after that, unless you don't understand the dark humour in the first place. I must credit him, he's improved A LOT from his first account.
He may go far with his posts (such as the 'Rapists are good people' thing he said), and that's what he needs to improve on, if he cares. But I think he does, but definatley won't show it here. I must agree with Ophelia on this for the most part. Because he's getting annoying again.
