Somebody sent this to me a couple days ago, I have no idea how accurate the facts are, but it is interesting, and I thought it might start a discussion about the socio/technological changes that are happening in the world, and how they could affect the future. |
Whoever used the main theme out of, "The Last of the Mohicans," had an odd choice for a theatrical score from which to draw music from.
Onward; China is one of those funny countries to draw statistical data from. Does the author consider Taiwan to be integral with China's overall achievements? The bigger question though is the source(s) behind the information presented. S'why you can't take this for face value upon initial viewing. Like a Michael Moore film, it should be a great start to go out and track the real info down if you want to learn more. |
I personally don't have any information on the stat provided, but I would say most of the facts presented are safe to assume they are correct.
If Americans have 60 babys every five minutes and have 300,000 citizens, China has 2 billion people so the number of births would be much larger. Same goes for India. If you do the math based on simple population numbers, most of the claims made do fit in. |
