what's your favorite comic book?

what's you're favorite comic book.
i'm guesing this goes into literature? it's a book, sorta..... oh well

i like spawn, and johnny

My favourite is The Sandman.
Then there is Batman - The Arkham Asylum, Black Orchid, The Books of Magic, .... and oh so many more.

and I have a fable for Wolverine.

Well, and there is Akira, the first comic I've ever read besides Asterix and Lucky Luke...and still one of those I like most.

ach, and Preacher....

My fav was Spawn up to #50 then it went to crap. I liked The Drakness and Witchblade too. Batman Is my fav hero though because he has the most flaws and no super-powers. I still wish that DC would give Batman over to Darkhorse for at least a year so that we can seee a more adult Batman comic. Oh and I almost forgot Jonny. I love that insane little serial killer and his Nail Bunny too :P I'm actually quite inviouse of Nny. He gets an endless basement with exits all over town. What could be better?

shonen jump.. i get a lot of comics for the price of one, and i get to learn some things too..

I like Hellblzer, the Crow, Sandman, Batman, Judge Dredd, Batman beforre it went the Dumb Ass way due to bad writers & Witchblade.

And Wolverine.

*looks at avatar, then at my signature* hmm... a tricky question  Sandman of course, though I go into my local library and see if they have any interesting comics from time to time

Comic book

SQUEE!!! it kicks ass, and it is fucking hilarious.

I know I will get kicked in the balls for saying this but SUPERMAN is my favorite comic book. Batman would be number 2 on my list, and Ultimate X-men at number 3. I like Superman for what he stands for, the american way, sure he's a geek and unrealistic but then again who reads comics about the real world.

No one remembers Deathlok

I'm sure no one remembers Deathlok. I haven't seen it since I was a kid. It was about a cyborg, back before even the "6 million dollar man". It was very dark, psychological, grim, and messy. Not like other "cyborg" characters we've seen since then.

I keep hearing how wonderful Sandman is. Soon I will buy and experience it. Sometimes it's nice to have something really cool that you haven't experienced yet. Almost makes you understand the Japanese sensibility of "anticipation".

Cartman: Why is it that everything today has to do with things either going in or coming out of my ass?

Hm...superman....there is actually one book I like starring superman but I don't remember the title - does anyone remember?: its a Batman/Superman paperback, Superman is turning psycho and killing the Riddler...really nice one and very good artwork...

I liked Ironman some ways back... then I gained an affinity for Wolverine. Not necessarily the comic book character himself, but his life's storyline... It seemed so appealing in some ways.

X-men and Courtney Crumrin. Grew up with one, discovered the other.

"The ballad of the salty sea". Corto Maltese's debut...

Although it's a graphic novel and not a comic book per se.

Curious about the Superman going berzerk thing, Nike. If you or anyone here remember what it is, give us a shout.

Oi! MrM, you're back!

-I like webcomics

guess

Not a hard one here. I'm a huge fan of the Sandman Chronicles

it makes me sad that I've been hearing so much about the sandman chronicles, yet I've never seen a copy anywhere.

Google time!

-or eBay

My comic book guy doesn't carry them. It makes me sad.

I figured Hot Topic would have it, since they have Johnny and Courtney Crumrin, but no luck there, either.

This is my wonderous creation. I figured it could fit here because it was about comics. lol

o_O

Can ya do a little innocent plug here... I won't move it to Shill, I SWEAR :D

It's only technically a plug. I don't have a site for it, and I don't have any intention of making one for another... several months. lol

Heh, ok.

What mediums did you use?
