All dressed up and nowhere to go...
 

Well, today was a half day and tomorrow is a ped day. I find it rather depressing that I have nowhere to go. I want for once to just go out with some friends and have a great time. Go crazy, laugh lots, not have to worry about undone homework. I go to an art class on Saturdays, which is a fun distraction but I want to just do something carefree. I'm too young to go clubbing or such but I jsut find it miserable when a friend tells me about her young annoying brother going around to parties and such when I'm older, higher up at school, more "sophisticated" and I have nowhere to go on Friday and Saturday nights. I don't really think I'm asking for advice. I just want to whine a bit. Are any of you in a similar postion? I'm listless, sitting around, doign my organizational plan for the weekend with what homework I have to do (10 hours so far and counting) and I want to go do something FUN. My brain is dead. In fact, my title for this thread isn't really accurate...I having nothing to dress up for.

Not wishing to sound like a complete and total social 'tard and Johnny No Friends (whoops, too late) I can relate very much to you.
Only it's more a case of nowhere to go and no-one to go with because everyone I know isn't really into my sort of things and I'm not into their sorts of things.
I.e. Going out and getting bladdered. Repeat.

I know what you mean about just needing to have a bit of a whine, I'm having a bit of an introverted episode at the moment and feel a bit empty when there is not only nothing fun to do, there is no-one interesting to really do it with.
So I shall resign myself to another night in and listen to Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds.

I usually have nothing to do. My boyfriend is always at work, and my 'friends' are either dong something more important (read: watching f*cking Naruto) or I've been banned from seeing them (I've been called the anti-Christ). It does get rather dull. What I usually do is pull out a sketchbook, a pencil, and a copy of Grey's Anatomy. Good fun.

I know exactly what you mean sweetheart. All my friends live about an hour away, and I don't have a drivers license. I also live in the suburbs, so there's kind of not much to do anyways. If I didn't have msn and g-net I'd have gone crazy by now.
