Goth Flag
 

i think it would be cool if there was a goth flag. not some little symbal, but a full feature flag. we are proud of what we are right? so lets make a flag!
submit something!

unless of course there allready is one and i just don't know it! then this new thread is redundant. but if there isn't, post some suggestions please.

We have a flag it's just we always keep it in a pitch black batcave deep underground so don't expect to ever see it while you're alive. The cave is directly underneath the official goth cemetary so after you're dead and burried you will be able to see it.

But seriously I don't think I could imagine an official flag. Maybe some crests for individual areas to have a goth monarchy. But no never a flag for all. Lets just rephrase the question then:
What would be your family crest?

Either way I find it is a bit silly of an idea.

This one is easy.

Solid black to start with, cut in half diagnology and replace one half with a colour of your choice. In my case, gold.

Or, a variation, a black flag with the white circle-black rose emblem.

Thread over, subject closed.

Fail.

OMG THAT'S A WIN!!! I cried at the end of that series... Gurren Laggan FTW! Needs more giant robots controlling giant robots controlling giant robots! We just finished the series at our college's Anime Addicts.

I have to disagree. Not that I could come up with anything better.

Simply the fact that the great Gurren brigade's symbol is on there makes it the best flag ever. Period. You won't understand until you watch the anime. But yeah, it DOES lack in originality a bit...

Black with an ankh in the center.
Although I like a little more political involvement, so it should be black, a red star in the middle, and the ankh superimposed in the star.
For an image of that, look up Yippie Flag in google and change the pot leaf for an ankh.

We have our 'nation's' symbols- the Ankh and skull. If you want some symbol to show us up, they'll do it every time.
There's been this debate on the steampunk forums already. No one could agree on the single unified design for a flag or badge, so everyone's just making their own pin to delineate themselves as of that subculture.

So, something like this?

Goth: Ankh (add skulls or roses and whatnot for effect)
Steampunk: Cog (add spanners, bolts and whatnot for effect)

Pretty much seems to be it.
Some people are suggesting getting Rotary International badges and giving them a repaint- ideal cog shape, after all.

Well I must admit it sounds as if it was creating in a sort of mocking sense. I like the symbol idea better than the flag idea.
