Unwise
 

As I looked up and witnessed life with wonder and remorse
"Pointless" said I, who's wisdom thus, implied the cruel endorse
Of countless days and infinite hours, spent wallowing in one's pride
Inhabitants quite, that doth mock splendor and worship those who lied.

"For men are men, and nothing more", true wrong do these words lay
To spill their blood with not a thought, wisdom does come to play
A finite disease are these who wrought, fire to countries many
Yet intellect and common ideals, shall end these sins, or any.

Exists one though, with wisdom great, whom shadows those who work
Who's point of view means little thus, yet destroys the men who lurk
And uproot death, secrete the doom that mankind attempts to quiet
The weak of mind and intelligence lank, does this one accomplish riot.

"The wrong shall fail, the right prevail", says Longfellow in his prime
As chaos often rues the day, and order revels in time
Yet wrong and right are values still, and exist in one's own mind
Thus perhaps chaos is "greater good", exactly what this one defined.

This man unamed, illusive still, shall approach the coming dawn
And end the living, the ungrateful ones, who wallow quite, lewd pawn
Observing no longer the apathy great, and thriving in his wisdom
Eradicate these who smirk in despair, and oppress the shrewed, true kingdom.

Then, still and quiet, dies the light, though dim as if it were
And warless, poorless, un-biased and dark, reality enjoys its cure
Thus, need we not peace, peace everlasting, for it exists in a tale
Chaos begins, and so it shall end, the wisdom of man seems to fail.

If ye who sin and appreciate not the life that you are bestowed
Destroy and burn, shall waken I, the one who, in darkness unloathed
Then come shall I, with fiery eyes and a shimmering cloak of black
To end the deed and smite the rest, but wisdom these men lack.
