Bauhaus and Gorillaz

Listen to "Bela Lugosi's Dead" and "She's In Parties," then "Dracula" and "Clint Eastwood."

Do you think Bauhaus influenced Gorillaz, or are they both just Dub influenced?

P.S. Yes, I quite enjoy Gorillaz, as I do Blur and much of Dan the Automator's work. You may revoke my Goth license if it pleases you.

The Gorillaz are ultra-metal without really being metal.
Apparently, they draw influences from:
-Butorphanol Tartrate
-Phill Oakey
-Haiku poetry
-Loa Zi
-Richie Sambora
-Farrakhan
-Chaka Khan
-Black Sabbath
-Dub
-J Andrew Anderson
-Dennis Wilson
-Satan

I like Gorillaz. I used to hate them just because they were popular, which was when I was struggling desperately for acceptance in the Metal crowd. Now, I don't give a shit. I like Gorillaz. And I LOVE Dan The Automator, has he got a link to Gorillaz? I didn't know that.
