Deerstalker. And ideas?

I just got a new deerstalker hat from a friends parent.
I'm totally stuck for outfits to go with it though.
I've done a search of the boards and still can't find anything.
Anyone ever owned one?
And any idea of what to wear with it?

A deerstalker? Like Sherlock Holmes? The great detective! Aaaw, wow. That is very swish.
You could always try to emulate said great detective, only using a much darker colour scheme I would imagine. It would go rather nice as a part of a Victorian theme outfit, along with an overcoat/cloak.

Considering that the Deerstalker is prominently for hunters in rural areas, you'd be hardpressed to find something that actually fits it other than outdoor-wears, hunting gear, above posters mentioned clothing, and, if on the silly side of the street, total nudeness.

Nudeness might work.
It's cold here atm though.
Hunting gear I quite like the sound of.
I'm just not sure whether it's worth getting the real deal or getting my mother to knock up some nice replicas/something based on the style.

ES - I'm planning on starting work on a Holmes style overcoat once I can get hold of a pattern.
