I was just on Runescape just messing around, when some huge idiot.. Asked me one of my skills.. I said.. Oh sorry 80.. I was trying to put my nail polish on..

He turns round and asks if im a guy.. I reply yes.. He then says that that is setting a real image for myself.. Then asks if im emo or punk, I say no Goth and he turns round and asks me what music I listen to, and if im up to date with goth fashion..

I tell him some bands and he calls me a poser, saying just because I dress the part and listen to bands doesnt make me goth.. Apparently being goth is based around personality and being rebelious.. I was like.. Wtf..? Do you know anything? He just sits there contridicting me the whole time so I logged out, but oh my god, some people are so retarded and it completely pisses me off...

Oh...my...goth! You got mad because some guy on an MMORPG known for having one of the biggest P.O.S. community in the gaming industry called you a poseur?

But anyway, he's right. This guy probably doesn't know what he's talking about, but a lot of people don't. You have to deal with it. Not everybody is going to accept you as a goth. There will ALWAYS be somebody to try and tell you otherwise.

The forums here on Gothic.net feature this board called 'Whining', which is generally the place to post the threads in which you whine.

There should be a thread call "Oh my god please reassure me by telling me how goth I am and how everyone else doesn't know anything"

That guy is probably telling all his friends now how he pwned a poseur while playing RS, and embellishing how he made you cry and whatnot.

There are two things wrong with this idea. First, the guy probably doesn't have friends because he plays Runescape. Second, if he had friends, he wouldn't tell them that he plays Runescape.

People do that to me all the time, but when they do I just mess around with them :p . When they leave they're so confused, its hilarious.

What's it matter what someone online says about you? Or anyone else at all? You are who you are and nobody else's opinions should affect or change that. So the guy has an opinion, you have your own too. Live how you want to and screw people who don't understand or disagree.

Keylog him, hack his account, then sell it to some poor eleven-year-old runescape fanatic for a ridiculous amount of cash. :D

Yeah but how to get the keylogger on his computer is the issue. You can't just walk up to the guy and say "here install this on your computer" and jagex is very clear about ensuring all players take proper security precausions.
