Omglol!
Yep, another whining fucking bullshit thread...
Well, my 45 year old mother goes out more often and has more fun than her 19 year old daughter in college. She went out last night with a friend and came home EXTREMELY drunk (that in itself doesn't bother me, she rarely drinks and she's 45...what the fuck ever). But I digress.... So, she's laying in the hallway sick as a dog (it sounds mean, but I didn't really want to help her because shit, she's an adult, but I did anyway). Well, she decides that she NEEDS to call my dad and have him come and help her (again). I'm pretty pissed at this point, but I hand her the phone. She proceeded to call him more times and once I had to talk to him for her. This is where I realize how wonderful my life can be. I answer to him, and he starts givng me the worst attitude and yelling at me. "You better not call the cops...blah blah, I don't wanna talk to you". Alright, why would I call the cops? Nobody was beating anyone this time. So he finally gets to the house and calls my mom saying he won't come in because I'm there. I talk to this mand acting like a baby one more time assuring him that I'm not gonna call the cops, their is no reason too. So he comes in and my mom is saying over and over how she loves him and misses him. He stayed the night and left this morning. So great, I try to be helpful and he fucking yells at me. Sorry this is long, but jesus christ why am I surrounded by grown adults acting like children? Guess my parents are gonna get back together. I don't have the option of moving out because then I'd have to drop out...and FUCK that. I plan on transferring to UArts next year though. Who wants to send me some alcohol? |
Shit Teccy, I'm sorry you have to deal with that kind of bullshit. If I could, I'd buy a round of three, but I'm even more underage in the states than I am here. I hope everything gets better for you and you won't have to deal with your dad.
|
Well, nothing gets better...it always gets worse.
Until I move out, that is. Shit will be off the hook then. |
In that case, the first round's on me at your new place.
|
Sweet. Betta be Yuengling.
|
Oi! Can I come? I'll bring the hard liquor!
|
Dig your own grave in the back yard, that always freaks that parents out...
|
Maybe if I was a teen mall goth, I'd do that. I'm not here to "freak out" my parents. Someone has to act like an adult, and since they can't seem to it's up to me.

* sends you some Jack Daniels and a hug *
I sympathize with your situation, I've been there before and it sucks but you'll have to stick it out for now. Trust me, it will all work out in the end. Just don't give up, OK? |
Man, that's not fun; that sounds like something my sister [who is 47] would do. :/
I wish there was some other option for you than having to live there. |
Then m,ake coffee every morning at 5 am and read the New York TImes... Open some mutual funds while you are at it
|
Sounds good to me!
|
I don't know where in PA you live but I have some friends who live by College Park that are super nice, and even though they don't know you would probably let you stay there. A mom and three daughters (21, 18 and 8) and a 10 year old son. If you had like, an emergency or something, and need a safehouse. But they are religious.
