This thread is sure to exist however, I could not find it so I am recreating it...
What is the biggest turn off?
Lets here em and when you suffered the turn off...

One for me, is guys who talk about sleeping around a lot. I dont care who sleeps with who but baby lets act like adults here...
Chatty Slutty Guys lose about 10 points with me...

Clinginess always gets me... Turn offfffff.

So having lots of sex is bad in your books?

Corpsey 02-04-2008 03:03 AM

Looks like.

Chicks with brains smaller than their chests make me cringe. Gimme the choice between having a decent conversation or a large amount of cleavage and I'd choose talking any day.

Romantic Raven 02-04-2008 03:11 AM

I hate guys who are too outgoing, those who seem to know everyone. You can't have a decent walk in the park without them stopping every 5 metres to greet someone they know. And, you know, this wouldn't bother me so much if so many of the people they knew weren't girls: oh, how are you, a kiss on th cheek, a little flirt... Call me possessive if you like, but there is no WAY I am ever going to stand that kind of behaviour.

Nevan 02-04-2008 03:13 AM

A random thought then ^... How is it that every single guy you talk to will tell you that he prefers personality over looks, but when a man looks at a girl he always looks at her chest first?

And that is the biggest turn off for me - when some guy looks at me and I almost have to tell him 'Hey buddy, my eyes are a little higher than that.'

dark_dragon_of_ice 02-04-2008 03:23 AM

Because the above statement isnt sexist or anything.

Nevan 02-04-2008 03:33 AM

Still doesn't make sense.

that.'

There..and what do you mean again?

Nevan 02-04-2008 03:50 AM

Ok I'm a little lost in translation here...

I was referring to Corpsey's remark.

And where are your eyes at anyway?

dark_dragon_of_ice 02-04-2008 03:55 AM

The computer screen.

Nevan 02-04-2008 04:07 AM

Of course. What was I thinking...

Another thing that turns me off is when a guy will say 'you know, you're the most interesting person I've ever met!'

That's just a personal thing though. I usually respond with 'well, you obviously haven't met many people then'.

dark_dragon_of_ice 02-04-2008 04:14 AM

Sorry you didn't mean to infer all men...I went a bit overboard.
Anyway I find obvious lack of using ones brain or caring about learning as a turn off as well as the lack of ambition.

Actually, I was...

Well. It seems like the trend with South African men at any rate. They're as fucking common as dustbins.

I try my absolute best to be open-minded and to give each prospective partner a sporting chance, but I'm starting to doubt if I'll ever meet an exception to the rule around here.

Spitting and smoking. Doubly so if both are being done at the same time.

Underwater Ophelia 02-04-2008 10:13 AM

Big penises.
Good looking men and women.
Erotic literature.

dickpickle 02-04-2008 10:15 AM

Very nit-picky negative people who always look for something to bitch about.

They should put erotica in the Entertainment section of the newspaper, it would be a natural sedative after getting fired up from the Political section.
(Did I mention that I get off over the sight of outraged Republicans and soccer moms?)

Oh and I despise big penises as well.
