What do you consider low maintenance? And how long is your hair?
My hair is thick, somewhat wavy, and prone to frizz. It's also extremely long. You might consider it high maintenance because it takes 15 minutes to flat iron it. However, I think it's low maintenance because I don't have to wash it and blow it dry every morning.
It was already mentioned, but I'll add my vote for a ceramic straightening iron. They're fantastic. I will also mention dimethicone-type anti-frizz serums/creams. They make your hair soft and shiny while combatting frizz.
