Just gave away my last kitten.

If anybody remembers, my "sisters" Isabelle and Elisabeth each had their litters on christmas day. 9 in all. I put them up for adoption just this tuesday and 7 of them were adopted out the very first night - 5 to one house, 2 to another. Yesterday was the 8th and now the last one, a boy that I thought would have a problem finding a home (cause he's not as social as the others, likes to play more than be held), just left. I feel kind of bad for the sisters, they're roaming the house crying for their babies.
I wish cats actually understood what we try telling them, beyond "No!", "Stop," "Get Down!" or "Come Here". All they know is that the kittens went into a room they're never allowed in, and never came back out. I would like to have kept them a little longer, and maybe spaced the adoptions out a bit further, to make seperation easier on the mothers. They're still full of milk, but the kittens were getting so big, no one was going to believe they're only 8 weeks.
