I live in FL and my usual summer thing is lots of short cotton-y skirts, tight tank tops with fishnet tank overtop, and a pair of knee high socks. Thin knee highs that are made of a material that can breathe. Then again, I like to be extravagent...Shoes, usually either a pair of high-top converse (what? I like them! They're comfy!) or something more dressy. But I have to say, guy's cargo pants are really nice, too, if you don't like skirts.
