I did the two paragraph introduction on the original thread, but that was many moons ago and I haven't visited the site since. So...

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
Fire-spinning and General Lurking, mostly. I do work Saturdays in a charity shop, but, a large part of that is getting first dibs on clothes.

2. Where are you from?
London, home of Slimelight and Camden market. But I moved when I was 10 or so, so I've never actually spent much time, if any, in either place.

3. Who is your favorite author?
I have lots. Gaiman, Pratchett, Poe, Shelley, Kipling, Patrick McGrath (read Martha Peake?), Rice, Susanna Clarke, the list goes on.

4. What are your favorite films?
Pulp Fiction, Heathers, Amadeus, Nosferatu (70's version), Being John Malkovitch, Lord of the Rings, Withnail & I, and A Beautiful Mind among others.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
I doubt I'll have a wedding. Or if I do, it'll be a wildly unorthodox one, suited possibly to Dead Can Dance.

6. At your funeral?
A good melancholy Cure track, probably somthing from Pornography.

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Diving into an icy river. Or off the battlements of a castle, I'm not fussy.

8. What kind of casket would you want?
Black, with red satin lining. What do you take me for?

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
Swirly black skirt, with red lining (that I might be dying black soon) and a pretty corset.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Not a lot. My childhood was uneventful, and I didn't have any friends.

11. What's your favorite band?
Can't say. Sisters of Mercy, The Cure, The Mission, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Bauhas, Rasputina, lots of bands.

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
Secondary School, waiting to do my Leaving Cert to go to university. I'm hoping to study either Engineering or Science, in Trinity, UCD or DIT (various institutions in Dublin, btw).

13. Why did you join?
The forums were referenced in many different websites and books, so I thought I'd go over and see what the fuss was all about.

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
The 'fairer' sex...

And what wasn't covered:
-I'm an Aquarias, but generally think that astrology is a self-evident load of bull ( :-) sorry ).

-I'm currently in a Writer's Workshop and am enjoying every minute of it.

-People who say they can't be bothered to read books should have Jonathan Strange & Mister Norrell dropped on their heads.

-The name 'Endemonida' is NOT from the Alien Sex fiend song 'Endemoniada' but from the Terry Pratchett book 'Masquerade'.

-The background picture on the forums (at the sides) is really very pretty...
