Aleister Crowley's idea was to make all the drugs legal; some people would die of cocaine or heroine overdose, and the rest would be (in Crowley's opinion) smarter.
I find it silly that weed is illegal and tobacco and alcohol are legal -- in their own way, both tobacco and alcohol are more dangerous than the weed.
