Wow, interesting dream you got there, Ticklish. I have strange random dreams like that too. One in particular stands out because for some reason I was scared in the dream but once I woke up I started laughing so hard.

So in the dream my mom had gotten a pet pig, which we kept in our backyard. However, the people in our neighborhood were very anti-pig for some reason, and kept threatening to run us out of town and kill the pig if we didn't get rid of it ourselves. Then we decided to go out for dinner, and as we were driving away my mom said "I hope the pig will be okay while we're gone..." and my dad responds with "Oh, don't worry about it. ...Although I just realized I left the front door wide open." So we eat, we come home, it's dark, and the front door is indeed wide open. Our yard is full of signs that say "down with the pig!" and "go away, pig-lovers!", and my mom, sister and I are worried that someone might be waiting for us in the house, so we stay on the lawn while my dad goes in to check it out (cause he decided he wanted to be Mr. Macho). In my dream, there's a big long mirror on one of the walls in the entry-way, and I can see a shadow in it but I don't know if it's my dad or someone else. All of a sudden, Freddy Krueger pops up out of nowhere, and my dad screams like a little girl and then faints. So the three of us that are conscious run to the car, but my sister hopped into a different car on accident, and as we're driving off, Freddy jumps in that car (my sister was in the backseat, he didnt see her) and drives after us. We try to shake him off, and then he crashes into us. I get out of the car to make sure we'll still be able to drive off, when my sister switches cars and Mom drives away leaving me in the middle of the road running from Freddy who has the advantage of a car. So I run and run and it's all slow-mo and I'm screaming "Noooooooooo" and then I woke up.

'Twas odd.
