My school had a uniform policy that wasn't enforced very strongly, the only thing they really got bugged about was people wearing trainers or not wearing their tie. The only list of items selected as particularly against the rules were ned (chav) stuff like tracksuits, knuckle dusters, Burbary caps, "football colours", etc.
At school I just wore black cargo trousers, my New Rocks, a black shirt and the school tie... and I wore the same outfit minus the tie at weekends and holidays, lmao.
But now I'm in college I'm blowing a couple hundred quid on some new clothes since my wardrobe is pretty tired now having been nothing but black trousers, black shirts and various t-shirts for five years.
