Thanks for what you said,my experiences only bounded on textbooks so I have to agree most of your arguments,but in theory,what people behaves is foundamentally determined by their lever of technology.For example,Narcissism is a unfamiliar word to most of my nationals,most of them just don't have enough time to pay attention to our looks.
