i have found that doing that can piss them off. i mean, if the spirit was there before born again, it would think the house its territory, and born again the one who is invading. in my personal experience, after the spirit has made itself known, it doesnt really matter if it has permission or not. and sometimes ignoring them or trying to shove them out, especially if you are inexperienced, can be dangerous.
