I've always admired those types of dance, but have never had the opportunity to learn properly (with the exception of Middle Eastern, which I thoroughly enjoy).
It's wonderful to see someone still keeping those types of dance alive. The only dance around here seems to be hip hop, jazz, and a teensy touch of traditional Malaysian - of which is suffering waning popularity.
I also LOVE swing dancing. Back in high school we learned for a few musicals, and I was almost always the girl used for demonstrations of lifts because I weigh so little. It led to me being dropped a few times, but was all worth it.
