Most people a little younger than me don't use it or don't know how to speak and read it, but for those with a lot of old poeple in the family, it still flourishes. I quite like it actually, It really baffles people in other parts of the country!!!!!! I have to become "extra" english to be understood properly!!

That would be great for you to come over, but in California, you wouldn't see much of a look on people's faces. One can hear Russian, French, Spanish (of course, this is California!), Farsi (Persian language), and may others that I cannot make out, but I presume to be African languages as they are spoken by Blacks who are in what appears to be traditional African dress. There are many dialects of Indian heard as well (Hindi and Sikh dialects from Punjab etc.). We hear Australians and British too.
But come over anyway!
