Yeah......always hated how they changed the ending to make it more palatable to American "sensibilities". I kept thinking "wow, you missed the point completely".....and after watching the live-action version of it, I kept thinking "when a version of the same story with Julia-Louise Dreyfuss that was made for TV is closer to the source material than yours, you REALLY fucked up".....
Lesson-skip both versions altogether and just read the fucking thing. What? Too cool to fucking read, or do you even know how?
