And anyway, "death rock" is just another corny, superfluous name for a genre that people invented to make it sound cooler, just like "metalcore" and "doom metal." It doesn't mean anything. I remember being at this barbecue like two years ago and there was this fat kid there, probably about 14, wearing his HIM shirt and his studded Hot Topic bracelets (like the ones you wear, Haunted House), and some middle-aged woman asked him what band it was. I will now recount this incident for your reading pleasure:

Woman: What band is that on your shirt?
Fat Kid: HIM.
Woman: What is it?
Fat Kid: HIM
Woman: Oh, HIM, I see. And what kind of music is it? Is it like rock?
Fat Kid: LOVE METAL!
Woman: Oh...'love metal', okay.

Obviously the woman didn't care what faggot pet name the fans gave to the band, all she needed to know was rock, rap, or other. She wasn't impressed with the kid's "education" on love metal, nobody's impressed with your "education" on death rock.
