Authentic inner peace, eh? Hmmmmmm I can work with that.
After a while of great thought and many attempts to gain inner peace, you soon learn how to do so; through the tranquillity of listening to Depeche Mode. There's just something about the singer's voice that radiates through your mind and down your spine that allows you to get blissful and almost immediate inner peace after listening to a few vibrant notes from any Depeche Mode song. Because of this, you start to vote for Depeche Mode in the battle of the bands. You almost get it to there, and then, 58! You almost have the chance to hall of fame it but.... an annoying young man comes along and reduces it to 56... Then 54... Slowly but surely, Depeche Mode's points start to whittle down as enthusiasm for such an action builds. Until one day, after many vain attempts to hall of fame them, they hit ZERO and are replaced by some unknown band. This devastates you. You cannot understand how DM could get such an unglorified defeat. Thus, whenever you start to engross in your attempts to re-attain your inner peace, this thought pops up. You can't shake it, however trivial it may seem at some points. In the end, you give up ever searching for inner peace.
There, that should suit and amuse.
I wish I could go eat some chocolate ice cream with a friend on the mountain skiing in a place where avalanches and sudden skiing accidents never occur and have a sinnister day.
