So I've been on a "horrible futures" kick.

"Warriors Of The Lost World"-post-nuclear war Mad Max knock off. Not very good (even in the "so bad its good" way), but it's got Donald Pleasance (in his most annoying role ever) and Fred Williamson (being...well, Fred Williamson). It's also got a talking motorcycle (which one hopes blows up about 5 minutes after the film starts) and the ULTIMATE EXPLOIATION FILM FIGHT EVER!!!! You've got Amazon women, kung-fu fighters, fat rednecks, punk-rock thugs, and mad-max rejects all fighting each other!!!!!! Plus, a bad quasi-homo faux-S&M dance troop. Make sure your fastforward button ain't broken before watching this one.

"Warlords of the 21st Century"-So society has fallen after the "Oil Wars", and the military uses their equipment to become thugs....OK, so it's that imaginative, but it's got a big military truck that destroys everything in its path (kind of a cross between the safe car in "Damnation Alley" and the Anti-Christ mobiles in the "Thief In The Night" series"), and a motorcycle that runs on methane (from chicken shit, no less).

"America 3000"-the best of the bunch, and hilarious as all hell! Oh my god, it's got weird chewbacca things (Aargh The Awful...yep, that's its name!) and mad-max things and amazon things (women have taken over the world)....I'm still not really sure about the plot, but who cares! This one's right up there with "Penitentiary 3" as one of the greatest exploitation flicks ever!!!!!

"Prisoners Of The Lost Universe"-originally made for Showtime back in 1982, a reporter and a mechanic/martial arts champion are transported to another universe and are caught up in the local politics between humanoids and monsters of all kinds. It's got Richard Hatch (aka "Captain Appolo" of that Mormon Myth-Meets Star Wars classic, "Battlestar Gallctica"), Kay Lenz (Sandy from the classic "House"), and John Fucking Saxon!!!! It's also got a man in green paint and lots of kick-in-the-balls shots.

Oh Yeah-SIFF is happening soon. Al-you need to be up here for the American premiere of the new (and, possibly, last) Godzilla film ever! It's made by the guy who did "Versus" and "Azumi".
