That's rather odd. I can't see whats wrong with uttering the name "Lucifer", especially when I know Catholics who didn't even know who he "was" until I explained it. Haha, they do tend to portray knowledge and individual thought rather negatively. Someday, try explaining to them that Ockham's (sp?) Razor disproves God. Quite an interesting reaction I can assure you. :P
