I have long admired the Gothic culture, yet for family and personal reasons avoided it. I've always had a taste for the darker aspects of the universe (much to the misunderstanding of others). Honestly, I hate labels so much, I didn't want to be 'group' with anyone throughout high school, however I've sort of mellowed and the Goth culture is where I feel more at home. I would hate to be considered a poser or anything to that effect, so publicly I won't call myself 'Goth'. I feel the same with the whole gothic culture, but I am also limited to what I can do because of family. *sigh*
