Soooo.. French class today.
I got my quiz back from the previous class and saw that 4 points had been taken off. The question was "Ecrivez 'We stand in line' en francais"
I wrote "On fait la queue"
She marked it wrong.
I asked her why.
She said she wanted "Nous faisons", not "On fait"
I said I didn't think it was fair to mark off points when she didn't specify what she wanted; after all, both answers are correct.
She got angry, and said "That's the way it is. I wanted 'nous'. It is wrong."
I insisted that she had never before specified anything like that..
She said again that I was wrong, and that "'On' can mean a bunch of different things".
I said that my answer was still right.
She said again that she wanted "nous".
I told her that if I thought she wanted nous, I would have put nous.
She told me that I should have asked during the quiz.
Why the hell would I ask her if I had thought my answer would be correct?
Ugh..
She is unfair, and was incredibly rude to me. >_>
She also gives me zeros on homework when I complete all of it, but gives other kids in my class full credit when they haven't answered all the questions.
The kid that sits next to me put "nous", yet HE though she was being unfair, and was with me when I spoke to her. I am seriously considering taking all this up with the Guidance department. I am ROYALLY pissed...
