The differences in hardcore punk and hardcore are a bit confounded at times but by no leap of the imagination are the Dead Kennedys hardcore. I love them, don't get me wrong, but they aren't. Bleeding Through and The Agony Scene would be metalcore. Hatebreed is hardcore, especially that song.
