The paddle's pretty solid but has enough flexibility to give a good solid 'thwap'. I look forward to testing it out. If I'd gone for the red one, it would have colour-coordinated with my Libidex latex gown, but I'd have had to make sure that other accessories I got went with it. My aesthetic principles are too strong for me to just pick up a random collection of S&M equipment, it'll all have to look good together.
I don't drink beer, but I'll have a bailey's milkshake if that counts as a 'cold one'.
