Mine has largely NOT been working but I'll check back from time to time & it'll be ok for a bit, then go off-line again. Its been like this for a few weeks now.
Well, can't complain too much with it being a free service & all. Still, its a pain in the ass!
If anything, if I need access to certain e-mails I send them to my Yahoo accounts as they are usually ok to access at any time.
