The oddest comment I ever had on my makeup was one day when I had on really dark eyeshadow and someone asked me if I was going to see Rocky Horror. (Which I wasn't, because it wasn't showing... I do like Rocky Horror, though.)
I also had someone tell me outright that I looked like a crossdresser. I like to look rather androgynous sometimes, so I took it as a compliment.
