I guess I am a bit caught up. But I never said that him turning into a geek was a bad thing. Not at all. It isn't. When I said, "he doesn't have glasses or braces" I was making sure no one viewed him as the stereotypical nerd (glasses, braces, freckles, pants pulled up over shirt...)
