Yes! I didn't like to mention The National Enquirer, but you've pretty much hit the nail on the head. The Sun is about on that level for hard-hitting investigative journalism. The paper deliberately has whole "French bashing" campaigns where you can collect coupons for tshirts with 'witty' anti French slogans. Theirs is a world where 'big hearted Sun readers' (and that's a quote) are (so the paper says) solely responsible for saving most of the world. And did you know the reading age for it is 11? Draw your own conclusions. Oh, and BTW, I'm half Belgian and I don't like being called French. Nothing political. Just geographical. Like New Zealand and Australia. Or Canada and America. Or ... oh, I dunno. Bound to be somewhere else.
