You should always try to be sure that you have as little in common with your girlfriend as possible, in order to ensure that when the relationship ends, the amount of stuff she'll feel impelled to steal from you will be minimal.
Alternatively, seek out someone with whom you share virtually every interest in order to guarantee a huge pull for yourself.
