I agree about vasectomy being preferred, but it brings up another issue-

Men can get a vasectomy at almost any point, but a woman cannot up and get a tubal ligation. (I have been given reasons such as "not beign 35", "not having kids", "yuou may change your mind"- even though it is reversible as is the vasectomy). Just an oddity. Perhaps it is due to the more invasive procedure.

But it is cool to see that men are more than willing to undergo their share, you know? A departure from many of my experiences a decade ago where I could barely talk them into a condom. Thank you.
