Its out of respect forJay and the other soldiers in-arms-way that the commandet-in-chief should never try to downplay in a joking manner the reason why he said they should be in-arms-way in the 1st place.
What does the mother of one of the fallen think when she outlived her son and the president is making jokes about looking 'round the oval office for WMDs? Do you think she doesn't feel diminished in her pain? Do you think she might just feel cheated?
