Mitsy, thanks for that. It is hard to separate the person from the action sometimes. For example, I can't separate D***** from his actions. (See the thread in Spooky News). He is a classic example of what happens when a pedophile acts on his "addiction." He started off attemping to kidnap children and was prosecuted. After he got out he moved to another state, acted on his pedophilia, kidnapped and molested children, and was incarcerated in a mental institute. He was let out ... and now he's our problem. Three years ago, he saw some children playing in a wading pool outside their house. He went back, hid in the woods, videotaped them, fantasized about them -- then, he went to their house one night and kidnapped them, but first he forced them to watch while he murdered their family. Then he took them to another state, molested them, and forced the little girl to watch while he killed her younger brother in front of her. He was caught before he could kill the little girl. That's the good news. The bad news is he is being allowed to exercise his constitutional rights to represent himself in court, which means he gets to hand-pick his own jury and force them to watch the graphic '*****' film he made while killing this little boy. And, if he gets his way, which most likely he will, he will be allowed to force the little girl to confront him in court and watch the same film. Sorry GJ, Kontan, etc., but don't tell me ********** cannot be dangerous. I hate what this man has done to my state, this family, and this little girl, and what he's about to do to her. I love her and the way she has dealt with this. At the ripe old age of 11, she is still handling all this like a trooper, bless her little heart. In my book, she's a hero.
