Every day I'll wear kevlar gloves at work, and at nite/clubs poi classes( fire dancing) uses kevlar for the wicks, it burns at 2000* and melts at 1960+or -.When I wear my vests( I've have 5 full, and 3 half ones+trauma plates,etc..)the sun does not really harm the fabric, sweat does, cuase of the salt minaels and human bac## gross i know.
now the armour pic above ,, that a point blank corp model circa 90, cause of the larger arm opening .They bought out SafaiLand Inc.
And for the record Kevlar is in so many every day items, sneakers,tires,ovens,and boots ,I'd love to see New Rocks do something in that vein.
But, is this a long goth fashion trend ?Like bands Imperative Reactor, and the Das bunker crowd, some like to wear tact vest and so-on, for shock value (scaring all the lil girls in the neighborhood)or for a feeling empowerment/defense of a harsh world?
