There's something seriously wrong with the police department there. I mean, seriously, when they don't even recognize the mayor of the town? It's ridiculous! >_<

My condolences go out to the family regarding the dogs. Labs are perhaps the sweetest dogs on the planet, and for policemen to 'feel threatened' by them is ridiculous.

I seriously hope someone cleans out their department and puts someone sane in charge.
