This is the cross of St. Peter, or St. Peter's cross. So named because St. Peter is supposed to have been crucified on a cross placed upside down in the ground because he felt he was unworthy to die in the same manner that Christ died (upright).
I love that all the little kiddies who wear this thinking it has some Satanic or anti-Christian meaning, are really running around wearing a holy symbol of Christianity on their little necks. The irony is just too delicious. By all means, make an anti-Christian statement, the world needs more of it. But please, do a little research first. |
Yeah it reminds me of when they wear the pentacle and that’s a satanic symbol, or how some nazi scum tried to make the Celtic cross a white power symbol, or when Christians celebrate Easter....
